Perkbuilt makes software and services for contractors and the trades. This policy covers perkbuilt.com and the phone calls and text messages we exchange with you.

What we collect

• On this website. The site has no accounts and no advertising. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site. The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
• When you use the chat box. The home page has a chat box where you can send us your name, your phone number and a question. It is provided by our messaging platform, LeadConnector, which receives your IP address when the page loads and may store a small file in your browser to keep your chat session.
• When you call or text us. We receive your phone number, the time of the call or message, and anything you send us.
• When you book an appointment. We receive the details you enter, such as your name, phone number, email address and preferred time.
• When you email us. We receive your email address and your message.

How we use it

We use this information to reply to you, schedule and confirm appointments, provide our services, and keep business records. We do not sell personal information.

Text messaging

If you call a Perkbuilt number and we miss the call, we may send you a text reply about your call. We may also text you to answer your questions and to confirm or remind you of an appointment.

We do not share mobile phone numbers, text messaging opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages, such as our messaging platform and phone carriers.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as website hosting, phone and messaging, and scheduling, and only so they can do that work for us. We also share information when the law requires it.

Services we run for other businesses

Some contractors use Perkbuilt to send their own text replies and booking links. If you received a message from a contractor, that contractor is the sender and is responsible for the message and for how your information is used.

Keeping and deleting

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing hello@perkbuilt.com or replying to any message from us.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here and update the effective date.
